Like dumb sheep to the slaughter, most of mankind continues to blindly follow pagan traditions, rather than obey God's clear commands (Mark 7:7).

Has it ever occurred to those stuffing their faces with Easter ham that Jesus would puke at the thought? Neither Jesus or Peter, James or John ever ate forbidden foods. They wouldn't feel too comfortable at plenty of people's dinner tables.

Even the early Gentile converts to Jewish Christianity respected the biblical dietary laws (Acts 15:20), understanding that not all animal flesh is good food, that not all foods are sanctioned by the Creator in the Holy Scriptures (1Timothy 4:5).

When John the Baptist recognized Jesus as our Passover sacrifice, he declared: "Behold the Lamb of God" (John 1:29). He didn't say, "Here comes the Easter Bunny!" Again, like the Easter ham, the Easter rabbit is also rejected in the Bible as an abomination (Leviticus 11:6-7).

The very name of Easter exposes itself as a heathen festival, although it's cloaked as "Christian." Easter/Ishtar/Astarte is the Babylonian spring goddess our British-Israelite forefathers foolishly worshipped. Hence the fertility symbols of rabbits and eggs.

God isn't fooled by such baptized paganism, such whitewashed heathen customs (Deuteronomy 12:30). He commands us to commemorate Jesus' death every Passover and recognize His atoning work of redemption as our resurrected High Priest in Heaven, unleavening our lives of sin (1 Corinthians 5:7-8).

The early Church of God followed Jesus' Jewish example for several hundred years until Gentile opposition (from false converts) threatened them with a death sentence if they didn't bow before Easter observances (the Quarto-Deciman controversy)!

A growing number now know, understand and believe the biblical account that we're to observe Passover and that Jesus was resurrected before sunrise Sunday, "when it was yet dark" (John 10:1).

Others prefer to reject this light of understanding to remain in their traditional darkness and die in their sins (John 3:19) -- it's that serious! Because if our nations don't repent of such idolatry and immorality we'll soon suffer national destruction, defeat and deportation! That's why this article of faith is part of our plea to diehard Catholics and Protestants to repent.

Thankfully, every generation has those chosen few who are willing to reject holidays for holy days and "earnestly contend for the faith once delivered" (Jude 3).

Hopefully, this plain truth about Easter will cause you to question your beliefs and provide some "kosher" food for thought!

Armstrong, and am very aware of what Kahane thought about Christianity (and share some of his condemnations against it) but chose to focus on what Torah I can learn from him and even made honorable mention of him in my book, Beyond Babylon: Europe’s Rise and Fall.

God's clean and unclean food laws (Lev. 11 & Deut. 14) are consistent from Genesis to Revelation.

Acts 11 rehearses how God gave Peter a vision THREE TIMES of unclean animals and told him to kill them and eat. Peter said he never ate such food (even years after the resurrection of Yeshua, knowing better) and God told him not to call what He had cleansed common or unclean. THREE MEN were waiting for him to go with them to the spiritually unclean Gentile Cornelius' home where after a sermon, Peter said they were spiritually unclean as far as Jews were concerned, God poured out the Holy Spirit upon them.

Peter - to whom the vision was given - interpreted the vision and said that God had shown him - a new revelation - that he should not call any MAN common or unclean but that God had now accepted the Gentiles who had repented to become part of the household of faith. The same Gentiles that later the Jerusalem Council of Acts 15 instructed about the dietary laws, symbolized by the prohibition against eating blood (as today they're summarized by folks knowing we shouldn't eat pork).

The whole issue of Peter's vision was about SALVATION BEING OPENED TO THE GENTILES (no longer just a rare exception) - not about how we can now pig out on whatever we want! That's the plain truth of the Word of God that I was shocked to learn years ago when my minister patiently went through all this, and other Scriptures, with me.

Jesus acknowledged that Abraham is the father of the Jews physically, but not always spiritually (John 8:37, 39, 42, 44). The same can be said and is true about all Twelve Tribes of Israel. In fact, the commission of the Two Witnesses - in the spirit of Elijah - is to restore our relationship with our Fathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and thereby through their true religion reconcile us to our Heavenly Father (Malachi 4:6; Isa. 49:5-6).

Instead of always downing our Jewish brethren, you ought to pray and do what you can to see that the true gospel of the Kingdom, the true Yeshua, is presented to them to help clear up the confusion counterfeit Christianity has shamefully spread among them.

Jerusalem Without the Holy Temple is Not Jerusalem
Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the founder of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem spoke about his experience being part of Motta Gur’s Paratrooper unit that liberated the Temple Mount. "Once we liberated the area, I saw the Prime Minister, the president and all sorts of dignitaries entering the Temple Mount. But where did they head? To the Kotel [the Western Wall of the Temple Mount –ed.]. We arrive at the Temple Mount after 2,000 years – and where did we go? And the Torah world was fully complicit in this – it was not just Moshe Dayan and the government. Humiliation. Complete humiliation.

"There is no Jerusalem without the Holy Temple," he proclaimed. "I have been sitting here for two hours and heave heard about housing and demographics and even the Jewish Quarter – but nothing about the Holy Temple, which is inextricably the whole essence of Jerusalem. It is impossible to speak about Jerusalem without mentioning even once the Holy Temple.

"Every generation at least implemented to the best of their ability what they prayed for. Our generation simply runs away from it. We talk about the Temple Mount, but not building the Holy Temple."

Humiliation: secular Jewish leaders stop at a wall rather than continue to go up to the Temple Mount.
Complete humiliation: religious Jewish leaders follow their secular leaders and fail to lead them past the wall to go up to the Temple Mount. Shame. Shame.

When will the political and religious leaders repent of their woeful neglect of the Temple Mount? Is it any wonder Israel is falling to pieces? Will it take German-EU occupation to rub their faces into the dirt to appreciate the Holy Land?
